Single-Strand Tungsten Heater
Single-strand tungsten heater refers to a resistive evaporation source element directly processed from a single high-purity tungsten wire. It is the most fundamental and simplest structural form in the tungsten heater series. Due to its well-defined structure, stable resistance, and fast thermal response, the single-strand tungsten heater is widely used in precision micro-deposition processes in Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD).
The single-strand tungsten heater has low thermal mass and can rapidly reach the preset operating temperature, shortening the preheating cycle and supporting high-frequency cyclic evaporation tasks. The single tungsten wire also provides good processing flexibility, allowing small-angle bending and precise shaping, and can be installed in compact evaporation source spaces. In addition, the gap-free design ensures uniform current density distribution, helping to form a stable linear thermal field and improving film thickness uniformity. For laboratory research or micro-evaporation applications, the tungsten wire heater maintains process performance while offering good cost efficiency.
