Tungsten heater is a resistive evaporation source made of high-purity tungsten wire or doped tungsten wire through precision drawing, stranding, winding, forming, and surface treatment processes. The tungsten heating element is used in vacuum evaporation equipment to heat and vaporize metal or functional materials, enabling thin film deposition on substrate surfaces.

In resistive evaporation source systems, high vacuum and high temperature operating conditions place strict requirements on heating element stability. Tungsten heaters are applied in these systems due to the following characteristics: high melting point of about 3410℃ ensures structural stability during high-temperature operation; low vapor pressure reduces material volatilization in vacuum environments and minimizes contamination; stable electrical resistance supports efficient energy conversion into heat and enables uniform thermal radiation; low thermal expansion coefficient reduces deformation during repeated thermal cycling, ensuring stable evaporation performance.
