CTIA’s tungsten heater is a resistive heating element used in vacuum coating and evaporation processes for solar cell materials, enabling stable heating and controlled evaporation of metals and compounds. It is manufactured from high-purity tungsten wire through precision stranding, coiling, forming, and surface cleaning processes.
Tungsten heater is widely applied in Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) systems to provide a stable thermal source for metal evaporation. Materials are uniformly deposited onto silicon wafers or thin-film substrates to form electrode layers, anti-reflection coatings, and functional films. It is commonly used in crystalline silicon cells, cadmium telluride (CdTe), and Copper Indium Gallium Selenide (CIGS) thin-film solar cell production, supporting stable film formation and process consistency.
