Tungsten evaporation coil, also known as tungsten coil or helical tungsten wire, is coiled tungsten heating element made from tungsten wire or stranded tungsten wire. It is typical structure of tungsten heater designed in spiral or spring form to create concentrated heating zone for vacuum evaporation applications.
2.Working Principle of Tungsten Evaporation Coil
Evaporation materials are placed inside or on surface of tungsten coil. When electrical current passes through tungsten wire, high temperature is generated rapidly, causing material to melt and evaporate. In vacuum or inert gas environment, vapor expands and deposits onto substrate surface to form uniform thin film.
