What is Tungsten Basket?
Tungsten basket is a tungsten heating element that looks like a small metal mesh basket. It is typically made from tungsten wire or stranded tungsten wire through winding, weaving or spot welding processes, and is also known as tungsten evaporation basket.
During operation, metal materials such as aluminum or silver pellets are placed directly into the basket. When current passes through, the tungsten basket generates heat, gradually melting and evaporating the materials. Unlike conventional heating elements, the tungsten basket functions not only as a heating source but also as a material holder, integrating heating and loading in a single structure.

Materials are confined within the basket body, reducing loss and enabling more controlled evaporation. The heating zone is relatively concentrated, which helps improve evaporation uniformity.
